Strategy 2: Share lecture materials.
Why do this?
Students can view these materials ahead of class, or pull them up during class. This can be helpful for note taking among students who do not write as fast, or have visual impairments that make it difficult for them to follow along with the professor in the front of the class.
How do I do this?
Make it a regular practice to post the material on Moodle, or via email before the class. It is helpful to be consistent with the channel of sharing this information so students will know what to expect. It is also good to share with students on the first day of class that you are going to share these materials and that they are welcome to use their devices if it will help them follow the class better.
